Biodiversity Research on the Insects of Indiana

About our Research

We are interested in knowing how many species are found throughout the state of Indiana, where they occur, and how to tell them apart from each other. We identify insects and analyze data from many sources. We collect our own samples from around the state, participate in Bioblitzes led by the Indiana Academy of Sciences, and work with Extension professionals and citizens from across the state to identify insects they encounter.
